In contract manufacturing the same factory produces its own brands and its clients’ brands. In Manufio every brand has a known owner, a formula opens only for the operator doing the job, and who sees prices is decided on the server.
Formulas and prices are the two most sensitive pieces of information in contract work. Neither is protected by merely hiding it in the interface; who sees what is managed per person in settings and enforced on the server.

SolutionEvery screen, action and notification audience is a permission, with roles and named people managed in settings. Deactivated users drop out of every list automatically, and the person editing settings cannot remove their own access by mistake.

SolutionOn a customer-specific portal link, colours are picked in the printed shade-card layout with a quantity per shade. Codes not in the catalogue are flagged and moved to the right shade, and the request becomes a draft order.
ProblemA complaint comes in about a batch. Which raw material lot, from which supplier, went into it?
SolutionOne screen leads from the finished lot to the work order, the formula version and the consumed raw material lots. Lots are recorded when a task is accepted, so the view shows recorded links, not assumptions.
ProblemWhen a product price was updated, the totals of past orders shifted too.
SolutionThe line price is stored with the line when the order is placed; later price list changes do not alter an approved order. Changes to list prices go through manager approval.
