Hair colour: base batch and shade difference
ProblemKeeping a full formula for every shade means carrying each change in the base into every shade by hand.
SolutionOne shared base formula, plus only the pigment difference per shade. The colours view shows the most kilograms possible per base with stock on hand, which shades are short and a suggested quantity. One work order per base; batches below the minimum size are stopped on the server.
One shade card everywhere
ProblemShades appeared in a different order and format on every screen; finding the right one in a long list took time.
SolutionOrders, shipments, stock counts, the portal, delivery notes and checklists all use the same shade-card component and the same order. Shades are picked from the card everywhere.
Customer portal with shade-card ordering
ProblemHair colour orders arrived as free text with shade codes; wrong or uncatalogued codes were noticed too late.
SolutionOn a customer-specific portal link, colours are picked in the printed shade-card layout with a quantity per shade. Codes not in the catalogue are flagged and moved to the right shade, and the request becomes a draft order.
Stock & warehouseHard gate
Digital stock count and surplus gate
ProblemA count shows a surplus. Is it really extra stock, or was a just-finished production run recorded twice?
SolutionCounting is done on an iPad in shade-card layout, and each row saves instantly. For a size with production running or finished in the last 14 days, those work orders are shown before a surplus can be booked, so a double entry does not become an adjustment.
